Darwin Plants are no new-comers to providing a comprehensive plug range for our clients. For 4 years we have been offering 32 cell plugs to the US market and following on from that success we introduced two ranges of plugs into Europe in 2004.

North America
On a worldwide basis, it seems the trend for growers to use more plug grown material is growing and in response to this changing market Darwin Plants have introduced a smaller sized plug to the North American market. New for 2007 and running alongside our already well established 32 cell plug programme will be the 125 cell plug range.

Europe
In Europe we have consolidated our previous two plug ranges (40 cell and 108 cell) into one extensive list of popular varieties all grown in a standard 104 cell plug tray. This is in response to a European wide demand from growers producing not only 9cm pots but also larger containers.

Advantages for growers will be an extended growing season as Darwin Plants are able to offer these plugs on an all-year-round basis (subject to availability). Furthermore, accessibility to those all important sought-after new or unique varieties that we are so well-known for becomes an option to growers large and small!
