This wonderfully decorative, soft-textured grass forms spreading upright clumps of blue-green blades, which are brighly variegated with white edges. Purple-green flowers.

Sun to part-shade in moist, well-drained soil. Performs best in cooler regions. Good ornamental groundcover in the front of the perennial border or in the rockgarden.
